What is DC Caribbean Carnival?

DC CARNIVAL is an annual event produced by the DC Caribbean Carnival, Inc. a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. The purpose of this event is to bring to fruition an annual Caribbean style parade in the District of Columbia called “DC Carnival”, develop and encourage cross-cultural programs within the Washington Metropolitan Area community serviced by DCCC in the expansion of Caribbean culture, and educate youths and adults in the Caribbean arts, crafts and culture.

When is DC Carnival 2010?

June 26 & June 27 2010

What is the parade Route?

The parade begins at Georgia and Missouri Avenues and ends at Howard University. 

What entertainment is planned for the parade route?

The band will have a music trailer powered by DC’s top sound company with music provided by Washington D.C.'s finest DJ's.

How do I pay for my costume?

We accept cash, money order, and paypal payments. All orders require a 50% deposit to secure a costume. Deposits are non-refundable and final payments must be made when picking up costume, final payments are also non-refundable.

Are costumes transferrable?

Costumes are transferrable but you will need to contact us in advance to request such a change.

When & where do I meet the Band on the day of the parade?

This will be on an information sheet which will be given to you when you collect your costume.

Is the band all-inclusive? (drinks, food, etc...)

YES, We Fete is an ALL-INCLUSIVE BAND. All-Inclusive meaning food, non-alcoholic beverage, and costume.

What are the features of the designs?

We Fete has worked to create costumes that with an exciting mix of materials. Each costume was hand sketched prior to creation. The team is in the process of seeking trademarks for such designs. Additionally, materials have been sourced from the global market and feature some new intriguing elements.
